Education, Training, Inspiration The Timber Framers Guild is a non-profit educational membership association. Our goal is to educate our members as well as the public in the techniques and theories of contemporary and historic timber framing, the centuries-old construction system of large wooden posts and beams. What We Do We host conferences, support on-going research, author, publish and distribute a wide variety of technical and training materials, and teach an extensive series of hands-on workshops at every level from novice through professional.
